edit...you click on the link, scroll down a bit and under where it says changes, there's the dowload link, click it.
next page, there's a pic of the screen you'll see when you use it, under it is the last download link. there's a 2 click process for some reason but it works.

my guide is flawless if you actually read it right and i include all the firmware pbps in the files as well. :sighs: i wish i could help a fellow jugalo out but alas,seems like your doing something wrong,and im not sure what atm.kudos to goku and the rest for added extra help,but i self test all componets of this guide and not a single flaws been made in the instructions or the files

alright now my tower is fixed and i proceeded with the psp tool how long does it hang out @ da black screen usualy?

it shouldn't hang on a black screen...try formatting it and then running psp tool again, after you reinstall the 500.pbp.

edit...i'm running psp tool right now too and it's flashing as i type this.

edit 2...all done, took like 5 mins to run, went fine. just had to select a button to boot up with at the end, i held the L trigger and it was set and functioning.

your cards are crap...i'm convinced they are at this point, by a 512 mb sandisk and watch it work.

if you lived in my town i charge 10 bucks to do it myself,but alas i doubt you do.right now i want to throw my hatchet at your psp since its not taking the files right,but then youd have no psp.be fun though.if you wish i can try to talk you thru it better on a messenger?

one is a sandisk 1.0 gb magic gate
one is a sony me stik duo 512 mb
one is sandisk 2 gb magic gate
and the one that don't work no more is a sony mem stik pro duo 2 gb

so i don't know what to do @ this point

Earlier you said that Rains Ultralite failed to inject IPL. The fact that it failed to inject the IPL means that you dont have a properly made MMS. Try using the same program on somebody else PC because it seems your having trouble with your PC ("P"iece of "C"rap). Try this, download the latest version of CCleaner from Filehippo and install it on your PC. Run the cleaner option and when its done, delete everything it found, now use the registry option and before you delete every thing it finds it will ask you if you want to create backup, select yes and proceed to deleting all registry problems. Now try to make a MMS with program of your choice,(rains,grader,etc.,etc.) if it again fails to inject IPL, use a friends PC. If you were in California, I would say send me the POS and I would install CFW of your choice. I still think you can do it yourself.

i still say something's wrong with all your cards...i'd flash it for you too if you were close by, but i ran psp tool last night like i posted up on here and chose to create magic memory card, then chose the last option to install DC8 (5.00m33-4) and it worked without a flaw...you're getting black screens when doing that, so i stand by my diagnosis, something's fishy with your cards.

i don't get it. i'm retarded and even i used this guide perfectly to get my stuff working right. it really shouldn't take an entire wing of NASA to get it going.
