Connect psp to pc via usb mode.

when connected put this file in the root of your memory stick.
Disconnect from usb mode and turn off your psp.
Stick Pandora Battery in PSP holding L trigger till a menu pops up.
It should send you to a menu where you select install 6.60 me.

Thats it.hope that helps.


PS : once you have cfw as long as you dont remove the folder it adds whitch should be a tm folder and 660.pbp in your root,you can use your pandora battery as a normal battery or hold L during startup to activate the pandora side.Perfect if you ever brick,and no need to switch batteries afterwards

Just wondering if it's absolutely necessary to make the MMS while connected to a PSP or if I can do it through a card reader?

the card reader should work as well.note though,some people are having trouble getting this to work.i do not know why.as i actually used it myself and it works fine.

Also one more quick question as I'm new to this, I have the fat PSP but did not enable the 1.50 kernel on the MMS what's the purpose of 1.50 and will I be lacking any features because of it?

You will lack all 1.50 features.

You could google "4.01m33 1.50kernal" and hopefully get a link, otherwise I'll find one for you.

You'll be downloading that, I'll post where to find the 1.50PBP and instructions momentarily

PSP Downloads | 1.50 EBOOT

What you do is rename the EBOOT.PBP(1.50 firmware) to 150.PBP and place it at the root of your memory stick.

Then place the kernal folder into your GAME folder via PSP Directory.

Then run the kernal installer in game

Sorry but totally new here, can I use this to make a MMS to go from OFW (brand new PSP) straight to the 4.01 CFW?
