    For installing CFW and unbricking!

    PSPMod and i take no responsibility for what you do or if you result in a brick.

    I've tried this many times on my old 2K i used to own, worked every time. If there's something you want added, just ask and i'll add it.
    -----

    If your having trouble making a Magic Memory Stick and about to give up, just download and unpack these files to your mem stick.

    You need:
    A pandora battery.
    At least a 512MB memory stick.
    A HACKABLE PSP. Check to see if yours is here.
    & preferably broadband. (This package is about 100+ MB)

    Download:
    MMS Files.rar

    Once you have unpacked the contents of the .rar to the root of your mem stick, turn off your PSP, take out the battery.

    They don't go in MP_ROOT, they go one back from that. Like this: (Ignore the egghunt and h.bin files. I have a 3K)

    Not in 'MMS Files' folder.

    Hold the button suitable for you:
    X = 1.50 Firmware (PSP 1000 series ONLY)

    O = 1.50-3.40 mix (Both PSP systems, 1000 & 2000 WITHOUT the TA-088v3 mobo. Also this is the best option for most people)

    Triangle = 3.40OE (PSP 1000 ONLY)

    [] = 3.60M33 (PSP 2000 ONLY, WITHOUT the TA-088v3 mobo)

    Pop in your pandora battery while holding that button.
    Once you have booted your PSP, check the firmware, make sure it's one of the above. Then go to Game > and run the 5.00M33-6 updater, once it finishes you have custom firmware!

    If you're having trouble booting into the right firmware with the right button, all i can say is:
    Hold the button before putting the battery in.
    Make sure you do have a hackable.
    Keep trying.

    This works on any PSP 1K and 2K that is confirmed hackable.
    BUT, the PSP 3000 CANNOT use this, so don't even ask.

    And if you use your pandora as a normal battery, this is for you. When turning on your PSP with these files on the mem stick and your pandora in, the PSP boots into the firmware that's installed to the flash!

    Just look up PSP Grader. Its an auto .exe file that comes with the files to make a mms. All you have to do is plug up psp and find the letter of the drive its in. For example mine is j:\ and then it does the rest.

    They don't go in MP_ROOT, they go one back from that. Eg:

    Not in any of those folders; with those folders.

    For you, hold O. Then go to Game > 5.00M33-6 updater.
    You'll have CFW again.

    It takes about 10 seconds for the hacked XMB to show up also...
    Try to hold the botton till the XMB shows up, then check firmware.
    Nah, Time Machine works even when the NAND is fully destroyed.

    Have done everything you said. Even with the Pandora in and holding O ( I have a PSP 2000 ) It still doesn't load up any menu. The screen stays blank/black.

    @Mako, go into the MMS Files folder, cut, then paste one directory back.
    Mind if i use that pic?

    @TT, yup. Holding no buttons makes Time Machine boot into the firmware thats installed to the flash.
