Does the list mean you can't hack the PSP with a 8GB MS?

The list is just there to show results I got from doing some quick tests with each Hen / hen-like installer for the 2k. It does not apply to the 1k, since there is only one ChickHen Method for it.

Is the 5.03 update the Custom Firmware update or the Sony update because I heard that you can't hack with the Sony 5.03 update( or does this allow you to hack regardless?)

It's 5.03 Official Firmware update. 5.03 -> ChickHen -> Hellcat's

5.03 is the only official firmware that you can use the ChickHen installer / exploit on to install cfw on a Psp.*

okay so you install ChickHen then put any firmware on it and it works?

For hackables if you're using ChickHen 5.03 -> ChickHen -> Hellcat's Recovery Flasher (Installs 5.00m33-6) From there if you want you can go directly to the latest cfw which is 5.50 Gen-D3.

okay you you put the OFW then the ChickHen software, then the CFW on the PSP, and this Chickhen/5.50 CFW combo works with Psptube 2.0 still? And is the Hellcat's Recovery Flasher in the CHickhen folder?

Yes, official to ChickHen. Followed by Hellcats which is a separate download.

Pretty sure Psptube no longer works period for youtube and such. Think the newest one is called Gotube or something like that.

okay, and somehow I already have EBOOT.php in my updates folder, should I delete it and put this new one in or what? Oh and the whole thing is a .rar file, should I look for a Zipped one?

Delete the old update. Download Winrar and extract using that. Winwar is superior to Winzip.

GREAT guide. both my phat and psp2001 now have 5.50 gen-D3......but the problem now is i cannot play certain games properly, specifically Jak and Daxter the lost frontier; the game always freezes on me. I heard that it works with cfw 5.0 m33-6:

(1) do you know of anyways i can get the game to work with 5.50 gen-D3 so i don't have to downgrade? i'd rather have the newer cfw.

(2) if question (1) is impossible, would I be able to run hell's cat recovery to downgrade both psps to 5.00 M33-6?.....from the guide, redo the steps after running chickHen?

1) yes, press select from the XMB and the vsh menu should come up. toggle the umd iso mode to "m33"

2) yes, hellcat's can flash your psp to 5.00 m33. although GEN should run every game, i tried quite a few myself.

3) i betted whether or not your account was a bot a couple weeks ago. looks like i lost
