This can be done on any PSP on any CFW.
First off your going to need to grab the latest version of PSPKVM
You can download this from here: PSPKVM 5.5
Now you'll need to download a version of Opera Mini, Im using version 6
But id suggest version 4.3 or 5.1.
You can pick up what ever version you may want here: Opera Mini Versions
(Download the .jar file)
Once youve got the .JAR file for the version you want we can move onto the installing part.
Installing Opera:
Open the PSPKVM directory on your psp via USB (ms0:PSP/Game/PSPKVM)
Now your going to make a New Folder names "Apps" (No " ")
After you've made the folder, find the Opera Mini .JAR you just downloaded and copy it into the Apps folder you just created.
Now dissconnect the USB and start the PSPKVM application.
Once it loads your going to have to navigate to the App folder. (Follow the yellow outline)
Now you need to select the Opera Mini.jar file you put in the folder.
Once you select the file youll be prompted to select a format to install it under, select the one in yellow (first one)
Once you've selected that the installer will finish up and you can use Opera Mini.
Once you get Opera installed your going to want to change a few setting:
With Opera running hit the SELECT button to bring up the menu, click the big O.
When the drop down menu comes up go down to Settings.
Now when the settings menu shows up your going to go to the bottom and select Advanced.
Once in the Advanced settings you are going to turn on full screen edit.
NOW EXIT OPERA
Time for some PSPKVM settings.
Your going to want to change the select button from O to X (unless you live in Japan)
So your going to click System Midlets, then Configure VM.
Once that opens your going to go to Keymap settings and change it to X for select.
Now your going to want to chage the Virtual keyboard to QWERTY.
Now your opera mini and pspkvm are DONE. Enjoy a faster browser and no more "Not enough memory" warnings!
If you run into any issues let me know and I'll help you out.

idc if its just a skin for the original internet browser. Just hate the plane look.
why do you suggest a lower version of opera?

Lower versions are faster on the psp. And it worked on 6.38 2. Idk it doesnt work on some psps. I tried on my 2000 and 3000 on 6.35 and it wouldnt work but on my 1000 on 6.35 it did.
When I click the link to pspkvm i get this message.

Wtf is wrong with this fucking site. Ive had to re-add the link 3 times now so it will work. This is begining to piss me off.
Fixed again and not linked through psp mod uploads.
not too bad when i had my psp tho i prefered a fully working google chrome
PSP Chrome v1.0 - Homebrew Applications - PSP - QuickJump Downloads
but to each their own.opera is pretty good in itself as well but i dont like it as much
Thats a portal in case you wernt aware. It uses the netfront browser. THIS is a full NEW browser.
I did this a year ago. But nice tutorial![]()
