Awesome, well thanks for joining up here. There may be some drama here every so often but there's more information here than anywhere else.
If you want then I can clear ALL this drama out of your thread. Delete every last post except your guide posts.
Thanks for all the help Slowman.

a glossary would be helpful pirate something that explains the "jargon" for the noobs. for example OFW=official firmware, CFW=custom firmware. that way when they get stumped on the terms they can turn to the glossary for referance.
slow i also see your point on gokus guide, but i think it would be safe to say that he does not have any legal rights to it. he did have it posted on this site for anyone and everyone to read. basically giving up any rights to it for anyone to use. i do think he had the right to remove his thread, he wrote it so i feel he had the right to remove it. but even so he posted the information for all to see. maybe it is just me but i would have no moral issues with copying and pasting his guide on this or any site. not that i would, or that i am planning to. just saying
well diab, i shall certainly think about a glossary. Thanks for the idea
newly added.
Section 5: Glossary of various terms in PSP Modding
special thanks to slowman for assistance
If you can, add a couple of video's. I might be able to make a couple for you.

i know im the last person you probly want suggetions from but might i say you should edit section 1 to be the glossary and make section five your MMS and PB section much easyer for the rookies out there but its up to you its your guide
i agree with dank, if the glossary is listed first then after they read the glosary as they read through the rest of the guide the information will be fresh in there head and it wont sound so confusing to them. good idea dank!
Ok its done now. I'm also making a new section on common errors and solutions and also some cool tips
looking good pirate, its coming along nicely!
as what guapo is saying, if you can include videos, you might as well want to include my downgrader guideit's neat
PSP 6.xx downgrader V4 (6.60 to 6.00 "TESTED") - YouTube
I have attempted to follow your guide, but when I get to creating the MMS, the IPL fails to inject. Something about not enough reserve space. I've tried to use Rain's injector, both from the plain injector and the MMS maker, I've formatted the card via windows, then the PSP, I don't have a machine with XP on it to use MSPformat at this time, so I'm stick at creating the MMS. I know how to make the pandora battery, but without the MMS it's moot.
I also tried the second method, but the psp tools won't even load on the XMB and nothing happens on reboot with it. it states that the file is corrupt and refuses to load it.
The card is a legit 4g sony magicgate. Even says Supported on the XMB when selecting info if that helps. Near as I can tell it is NOT the original card. my PSP runs OFW 6.60.
I have a psp2001, with I believe not the 88v3. No guide yet has to tell me what mobo it is, just has a chart saying if it's hackable or not. A source tells me it's pre-88v3 based on the serial number on the bottom.
I'm a bit lost, and any help would be appriciated.

Hey guy, check the link in my sig for Slim mobo and ID info. "How to tell if your Slim/2001 is fully hackable or not".
go to your psp with the memory stick inserted, press triangle on it. if Magic Gates = Unknown, it will definitely fail to inject IPL, cause it's fake, of it says it's supported, then it won't. in your case it's pretty much fake. go buy a 1gb.
