I had just imported my copy of MHP3RD from Japan, and I would like to english patch it. However, in order to patch it, I need to make an ISO file from my UMD disk and put it on my memory stick. I have looked up tutorials and guides for Umdrip, UMD dumper, and PSPfiler, and they all don't work. I read there is a way to copy an ISO directly to the memory stick using just the CFW on the psp, but I'm not exactly sure how to do that. Possible for someone to give me some instructions on how to do this? I really want to play my game! My cfw is 6.20 TN-D. I have also looked up numerous guides on this site to do it, but none have helped. I believe they were using a different cfw? The guides I looked at were Fanryu's "How to rip UMDs" and KoW210's "How to backup your UMDs to ISO/CSO". Any help is greatly appreciated!!

You can use isotool to copy UMD's straight to memory stick . Once installed run isotool , with white arrow pointing to [UMD Drive] press X , a popup menu will appear , select either ISO Convert or CSO Convert and press X . It will copy the game to your memory stick providing you have enough space.

umdumper is best. it's extremely convenient, its a homebrew that will copy whatever is in your umd drive to your mms while listening to some catchy techno. i did the patch myself but seriously, it covers like 30% of the jap language
