PSP Games slowing down?

Helllo, I'm a noob here. Before everything else, I've read the rules and checked the search button but to no avail, I can't see any posts related to my problem, so I'll be posting this up.

I have a problem with my PSP 2000 running on 5.50 Prome-2. Some games run normally while others do not. For example, I put a copy of Tekken 6, Crisis Core and Dissidia on it and it runs smoothly, but when I put other games like DJ Max and Dissidia 012, it slows down like crap. I'm not a PSP techie so I don't have any idea what's happening or what's wrong with my PSP. Can anyone help me out? Thanks a lot.

Open up your VSH menu and tell me what your GAME CLOCK is set at?

mine doesnt play the games, my clock is at the highest setting. pls help
