I remember someone recently saying that no psp needs a pandora battery anymore. Why don't you just go back to 6.60 and install 6.60 ME

i have a psp 1000 model that i'm having trouble installing cfw on. i'm using the same method i've used to get cfw on at least 10 other psps (both 1000 and 2000) but it wont work. when i put my mms and pandora battery in it boots to the m33 recovery menu instead of the menu to install 5.00 m33. ive put the exact same battery and mms into another psp and it boots up. if i try to use hellcats recovery flasher it gets stuck on the "i agree" page with "loading" in the top left. it was running 6.60 but i was able to downgrade it to 5.00.
EDIT: i managed to get 3.80m33-5 installed by using catb50 teams mms creator but there are still some issues. the psp autoboots to the recovery menu, if i choose exit it will load xmb. when i try to update to 5.00 m33-6 it runs through the 500.PBP verification then says X to start O to quit and immediately says aborted by user before i push anything. any help would be appreciated.

You're welcome. I have no clue either. Still new to psp modding.
if you're on 5.00m33-6, i think it's possible for you to update to latest via the system update.
i used b10 fix 1 on my two psp a 1000 and 2000 gow and i cant play any emu's on it does 6.60ME v1.8 work better for emu's?
