Noob questions etc.

Like the majority already posting in this section of the forums, im somewhat clueless on certain terms, methods etc.
Im completely new to the psp console series, especially reguarding the mods. I will start by apologising to those that presume im some other "noob" not using the search function. I have tried. & i have attempted looking into this information without needing to post.

But if in doubt it is better to get a straight answer to questions from the experienced.
I have literally just bought a "psp e1003 / psp-e1000 / psp street / psp cheap" whatever it is referred too

Now, iv read that all psp's are now somewhat hackable? either through a perm. "CFW" or just a temporary one.
(I have a standard 6.60 version FW, The start of my serial No. is "AB31")

Question 1: Is the "psp e1003 / psp-e1000 / psp street / psp cheap" completely hackable?

Question 2: Also, which "CFW" is best suited to play "Ps1/Psx" games from? i have a bunch of old games from years ago which i would like to get on my psp if possible

Question 3: If Q.2 is possible (playing ps1 or psx games on your psp), which programs would i need to download? ex. "CFW" , Something "Pop", "eboots"?

Btw i have read "The ult. psp thread", just getting it out there before that one dude links it
Just remember i might not know as much as you guys so go easy on instructions/replies

you can only have a temp cfw 6.60 pro c or 6.60 LME 1.8 since you want to play psx you probly wanna go with LME since it has built in popsloader
you will also wanna download psx2psp to convert the psx iso to eboot

To clarify, i can only temp cfw my "type" of psp? or is it because i want to play psx games its only a temp?
So i can download 6.60 LME 1.8 straight off 6.60 OFW?

& a question about a temp cfw; Do i just simply load it from my psp mem stick, then it reboots under the CFW? does a list of games iv put on it appear as a list etc?

& finally, since its only a temp; My game saves would remain intact?

Btw, is my psp classed as a "unhackable"? i.e. would i be able to unbrick it if that where to happen.

yes its unhackable mobo you brick it sony is the only one that can unbrick it so be careful if your uisng plugins they tend to brick system more then anything

Hmm, thats unfortunate. Could i just simply put a ps1 game disc into a ps3, copy it over & then transfer to my psp?

No you need to put the disc into your comp and use a program on your comp to rip it to Iso formatt after that you need to take the ISo and put it into a program call psx2psp and convert the ISP to eboot then you can play your psx games
