Default Pandora Battery Guide for Noobs

Argh, I am getting sick and frustrated with this thing. I am doing EVERYTHING exactly how it says and it isn't working.

First off, I have this firmware installed, is this causing a problem?
PSP Downloads | 3.71 M33-4 w/ Multidisc Popsloader

My issue is that I will follow EVERYTHING to the letter, but when I try to run the program, I get the "Can't run this game" error message. Wtf is going on? I've been reading guides and forums for HOURS and I'm still nowhere closer to any solution. I have set my kernel to 1.5 and have UMD on M33 no UMD. What else do I have to do!?

Firmware Installed: What is firmware??

Actually you dont need a working psp to do it but this is not the guide for that method. You will have to look for the guide that shows you how to do it the hardmod way. Look for it in the guides section.

I've never made a pandora battery, but i plan on it soon (thanks admin!). This guide seems great. Could you write a noobs guide for making the battery that can dual-boot into pandora/normal mode? I'd like to keep my battry usable yet keep the pandora abilities and im kinda nervous ill screw something up. Thanks!

I have firmware version 2.81 Is this the same as opening the battery and cutting the wire, or not? I want to mod my psp but not ruin the battery, as I do not have an extra around. I am a complete noob at this, but may just try and do it later. Also, when you open the battery, you then have to plug in the AC adapter whenever you want to start teh psp(that sucks!). Do you have to do this with your version? And finally, will this allow me to use an emulator on my PSP?

shawn hopkins... and the rest, if you can get acess to a cfw psp, to start Hellcat's Pandora Maker, you need the 1.5 kernel add-on INSTALLED, it will NOT start and give you an error if you dont have the 1.5 add-on, only for fat psps
