Pandora Battery Guide for Noobs
Hi,
I'm at the step where I create the "msinst.bat" file and upon trying to run it in the folder with the "msinst.exe" file and the msipl.bin file, I get a quick flash on screen of the DOS window and then it disappears. I get no chance to see the text or hit the "y" button. Anyone have a clue to what the issue is or how to fix it?
(P.S. I'm running on windows Vista with Service Pack 1 installed if it helps any.) |

Hey guys,
I'm pretty new to the whole modding thing so I have a noob question...
How do I know if Homebrew will work on my PSP?
I don't wanna go through the whole procedure if it's not gonna work :-/
Thanks in advance |

the main problem with formatting is that when im in the command prompt and i type in y and hit enter it just closes and im not really sure how to go about fixing this problem. from what i could concluded when my friend did this to my psp there was more components then what your providing, maybe they should be added to make things run better |

Ok I have followed this tutorial to the letter....everything went just as explained until
"Now that you have all the files and are ready to make your battery. Go into your psp xmb and run Padora battery creator. When the screen finish loading it will give you some option like to create battery or return to normal and backup eeprom. I suggest you backup your eeprom just incase. After you have backup you eeprom, then run the creator program again and just press X on your psp and you are done!"
Im not showing this "pandora battery creator" when I go to the memory stick using the psp, the only thing that shows is a "corrupted data" and "pandora battery firm. installer"
did I do something wrong????? |

Chances are like me youve got a updated mother board. se the things theve forgotten to mention are that if you have a slim OR a phat upgraded you cant use the normal bat maker. lucky for us there is a solution. get despertar_cementerio which is the equivelent. to see if youve got an updated mother board look in the disk tray towards the screen up the top right there should be a patch of green if there is a code there youve got an updated motherboard. also make sure your 1 on homebrew and 2 your homebrew is set to 1.50 kernal. hope i have helped |

Yes, I'm a noob. Bite me.
But yeah, I turn the psp completely off and then hold R at the same time when I turn it back on and it does nothing. It just turns on and is highlighting "Saved Data Utility".
I'm in one of the very first steps of making the p-battery and already having problems... |

I just followed all the instructions, but when I ran the Pandora Installer, after my PSP restarted it came up with a "Game could not be started (8002014C)" fault. What am I doing wrong??? I did everything step by step. My PSP is version 3.95. Thanks for any advice... |

It says - Run "installer" through the firmware on the PSP. This application
will create the firmware files on the root of the Memory Stick, as
well as msipl.bin. i tried to and it says 'Game could not be started (8002014C) did i do something wrong..uhm kinda new to this so dont really know much. |
