if it helps i am using a japanese psp with the memory stick pro duo from my sony ericsson phone (can i use that or do i have to use the one that came with psp) and my firmware is 3.80

thanks to anyone that can help me and sorry if this is a stupid question, i am a noob at all this
The memory stick should be fine as long as you formatted it correctly. and the jap psp shouldn't be the issue. make sure you are using the correct locations for the files.

Default GUIDE TO::Making Pandora's Battery (*new method*)

I created the magic memory stick and the pandoras battery just as instructed. But when i put the battery into my phat psp, the ms and wireless lights dont blink. They simply are on. After about a minute, all the LEDS just shut off. Whats going?
Is it because I'm using a 4gigabyte card? I implemented the mspformat fix.
Thanks guys

Default GUIDE TO::Making Pandora's Battery (*new method*)

u said this

(Q)Can i ever dual boot my XMB and my battery
(A)Yes! you can do this only one way. you need to buy a switch and solder on the + and - connector to the batter and to the switch. This will allow you to choose when you want to boot into pandora's battery or into your XMB

put it simply, do i just solder back the pin i desoldered? its hard to find a battery now....been to heaps of shops, but i dont think ill be using it as a pandora's battery if i downgraded it successfully. btw, wats XMB

Default GUIDE TO::Making Pandora's Battery (*new method*)

How to Use The Pandora Battery:

1. Turn your psp off if you're using it.
2. Insert the Memory card you made for repair / downgrading.
3. Insert the Pandora's battery.
4. when the program loads, press x

This will begin the Repair / Upgrade (Downgrade)
To eliminate a question i'm predicting, this procedure WILL patch key 5 if you have TA-082 or higher, so it's safe to downgrade.
Hope help

if ya'll don't want to hard mod a psp battery or you don't know anybody with cfw to soft mod it into a pandora battery then you could buy one here It does come with the Magic Memory files included. It was easy for me at least.
