Umm..when I open the folder "uniunbr"..there is msip, 371.pbp, psp folder, kd, and registry..I know that I just copy the kd and registry folders onto my root of my memory stick..but what do I do with msip, 371.pbp, psp folder?

Can someone specify what exactly is meant by the "root of the memory stick." I just want to clarify whether it is simply putting the files on the card or accessing the card in some other way. I've never dealt with mods before so I don't know if there is something specific I'm missing out on.

when speaking in terms of computers and other electronic hardware the root is the bottom level. for example your computer has at the very least a C:\ drive that is considered the root, if you are in a folder like windows ( C:\Windows ) you are one level above the root. so if your card when connected to the computer is called K or G or V then you will be at the root when the only thing you see is ?:\ where ? is the letter assigned to your card.

universal unbricker doesn't include 150.pbp, or 340.pbp.
Can I just dowload the originals?

lol sparco, you need to type in this
(seeing that your using drive f, i will use drive f in this example)

msinst f msipl.bin

thats it! you didnt add the .bin to the end so it doesnt load anything because there is no file called msipl in that folder

hey Median I thought your new method instructions were excelent!
BUT the part about the comand prompt not so much. i tried to transfer the Msinst that contained msinst exe and msipl.bin from hard drive (cd C:\msinst) to (msinst F: msipl.bin), after that the option "Y=yes and N=no" did not show! Is it because of my 3.72 version? please need help 1 more time. please email me anno2drescue@yahoo.com

Default GUIDE TO::Making Pandora's Battery (*new method*)

It says that you can use at least a 512MB stick but I think I read somewhere else that it had to be less than a 2gb. I wanted to buy a 4gb Sandisk Ultra II but I dont want to have to buy a smaller one for just the magic stick. Can I use the 4gb one.

And will budget 3rd part batterys be laid out the same with the same labeling inside?

Cheers

Unhappy GUIDE TO::Making Pandora's Battery (*new method*)

Ok, I finally built up the courage to try this and after I go to "run", "cmd" and input the command and I try to move the partitions I get an error message that says;

C:\Msinst>msinst F:\ msipl.bin
PSP MS IPL Installer
usage: msinst driveletter ipl_block_file

I don't know if this has any relevance but...
1. I am trying to do the Pandora's Battery to a Phat PSP
2. The version on my PSP is 3.51
3. I am using the same PSP to prepare the Magic Stick
4. I have Windows Vista on my computer

Please, anyone, help me.
