77 - GUIDE TO::Making Pandora's Battery (*new method*) 77 - GUIDE TO::Making Pandora's Battery (*new method*)

Hi guys,

I am a complete noob and am having a problem getting this to work. I have a PSP thin (model 2001) with FW Version 3.60.

I have it working up to Step #3 of the "Running the Files" section, but when it finishes creating the nand-dump.bin file, it turns off automatically. I don't need to press "X" to shut it off. The nand-dump.bin file is created on the memory stick - I can see it when I view the files through Win XP.

Then when I put in my regular battery, it just boots up into the normal screens with it being FW "Version 3.60". I am not shown the Pandora menu, just the normal PSP menu shows once it boots up.

Any ideas what I could be doing wrong?

Thanks in advance!

Is there a way to use your pandora battery instead of buying a new one? like put the pin back together.

as mentioned, you can punt the pin back on BUT i dont recommend doing so because soldering on a battery is extremely dangerous and a li-ion battery at that.
just be extremely careful because if you solder onto the actual battery, through that thing outside, and run a hose over it for like 5 minutes while keeping you nose and mouth covered.

the poisons these batteries leak are very toxic and they can catch on fire fairly easily.

You're wrong, you only need to do "cd C:\msinst" on vista..

change your tutorial.
