How to create a Pandora's Battery and Slim MS without a Fat PSP
You're mistaken.
Everything that is here, is there, only it's the exact same. I asked him if I could use his guide, and he allowed me, so I brought his guide over here. The only differences are that this one has more pictures, and has the registry files.
There is no need for hostility, I told you that if you couldn't figure it out, which you obviously cannot, then you need to either be specific about what it is that you're caught up on, or look else ware. And, I apologized for your incompetence regarding the guide.
And, I merged your first two posts into one because it was a double post, which is against forum rules. And, I edited your latest post because you used inappropriate language, and assaulted a moderator. Do it again, and you'll be banned.
And, if you attempt to flame again, I'll just delete the posts, and ban you for a week. Complaints/Issues with the guide are fine, flames are not.
This is a tutorial thread, not a flaming thread, so I simply won't tolerate it.

Ok. Does this only work for making a magic MS with a thin PSP? I have a Fat PSP, and no access to an already modded PSP, but need to make a Magic MS. So will this work for me? I'm thinking from what I'm reading here that it will, but I'm kind of retarded about this. |

How to create a Pandora's Battery and Slim MS without a Fat PSP
i did the psp trick found on here to make battery without phat psp. i converted psp slim battery into a pandora by clipping cord. then i downloaded the kg and registry for psp by mexi chino. i think i did a wrong step because i bricked psp it now stays on for 30 secs then shuts off. the thing is i used the Pandora___Universal_Downgrader_Easy_Installer to upgrade to 3.71 m33. Does anyone have an idea how i can unbrick my psp because the trick to put in the nand image and other file into registry has not worked? |

Ok, so once I've done this and the firmware is back to 1.50, how do I install a CFW?

I could use some help. I followed the guide and have the Magic Memory Stick files in order. The Pandora's Battery, I have a battery with the correct pin cut. When I put the battery into the slim PSP, I get the green power LED. When I try to switch it on, nothing happens. Also, it still works fine with the regular battery, I haven't managed to brick it. Think I broke the battery? |

No with the modded battery you will only see the green light turn on when the memstick is not made right or is not in the PSP. |

Thanks for the reply DarkFoxSniper. So the green power LED means the battery is correct, and that either there is no memory stick or the files on it are no good. Alright, with the stick in, the light goes green when I stick the battery in so the files on the memory stick are no good. One thing, I don't see the memory stick indicator lighting up, so I dunno if it's checking it. Should the PSP still be able to turn on without the memory stick and the service mode battery?
I used Pandora's GUI, and got to the point where you need files from elsewhere. I downloaded "The Files you Need" and dragged these out of it, see image. msinst has a copy of msipl.bin inside of it. Now, should I get these from Despertar v3 or Original Pandora?
EDIT: Resolved, turns out some of the Daxter PSPs are 3.71, and apparently this method will not work. Or maybe I'm too dumb to figure out anything without the word newbie in it, like TOTALNewbi easyInstaller.

-Matt | Anyone?
Or does this guide give it a custom firmware? Also, on the kd and registry update files, there's a "Original Pandora" and "Deserter" folder that both contain KD and registry folders, which one do I use? And do I just drag those folders onto the root of the ms?
And where can I find the Sony 3.4 and 3.5 update?
Also, once I've completed this, can I delete the files from the memory stick?

I'm assuming this guide will work with the Datel battery instead of modding a battery, correct? I have a slim with 3.60. |

Question regarding Magic Sticks....
If I buy an 8 gig to hold my files and all that stuff, and a 256 to make a magic stick. Is that ok or do my files need to be on the same stick? |
