Default How to create a Pandora's Battery and Slim MS without a Fat PSP

I purchased the Datel battery direct from Datel on their website. It took a few days to get it. I'm not exactly sure, but it was under a week.

which file are you confused about..

there are 2 main folder that holds the KD and REGISTRy and 1 folder that holds the tool

now you just choose which folder is right for your application Phat or slim.. double click on it and SELECT all and drop it in your memory stick.. after you have MSPFORMAT the memory stick..

Default How to create a Pandora's Battery and Slim MS without a Fat PSP

Right so i used the GUI. I had to download the EBOOTS though and i downloded the extra files needed also. So i ran through the GUI step by step carefully so as not to miss anything out. I then copied the files from the depertar v3 folder as i am running ofw 3.60 on a slim, onto the memory card at the highest point it could go (which, correct me if i'm wrong is the root). Still time and time again nothing happens with the memorys reading light when i insert my batter. I you've read this thread you'll have noticed that i asked somebody pior to this post how i MSPFORMAT the memory stick. It didn't mention to do this in the GUI ( did it?) and if this is what i have to do in order to make this work would somebody pease kindly tell me how to do it. What i mean to say here is do i have to install the mspformet file onto the psp or do i run it on m pc and if so how come notjingregisters on mpsp when i try either? thanks p.s the battery i'm using is thed atel battery only its designed solefully for use with the slim it's 3.6v 1200mAh. could this be a problem? i'm assuming it isn't, although i just thought i'd check with anybody, see if they knew otherwise??????

Great Guide! I have a question though. I bought a battery (Haven't opened it fortunately) and I think its the exact same battery in the pics(Comparing the pics to the one in the package, they look identical but it doesn't seem like its going to fit in my Slim. I get the feeling I bought the wrong battery :P Are my fears well founded or am I just missing something?
