How to create a Pandora's Battery and Slim MS without a Fat PSP

Got befuddles and stuck at the first step when I tried to direct download the 1.5 Sony eBoot. This is the error I got:



So do I need to find this 1.5 Sony eBoot?

yes you do. you can simply google "psp 1.50 firmware download"
anyways can some one simply reply to my post? i think the problem is that the folders and files are in the wrong place like registry and dregs

i read everyone's post and it answers all my questions. but the ms led light didn't blink
still waiting for a post by mods to help solve the boot up process
I think i copied the desperator folder(only) and placed it in the wrong section of the mms
idk ill keep trying

Edit: HOLY F****** S*** i did it 3.71 m33-2

this is how i did it.
Follow the guide of Gui then copy the files kd registry and msipl and 3.71 eboot on to the root of the memory stick then go back to Gui and go to battery's tab and click Write ipl then take out ur ms and put it back and slap the pandora and BOOOOOM service mode i was able to see all the text press X and wait a couple of minutes and you are done. now i'm gonna do this to my friend's psp hope it works for phats.

Yes U can I just did it, It does work and it is completely easy if you know what you are doing so i will provide quick guide to do this because alot of the guides are incomeplete or not clear enough so at this date and time you can still go to walmart or gamestop/eb games and buy a psp extender kit use that battery cause thats the one in the original post. so buy it get a razor blade and go around the edges CAREFULLY so u dont damage the battery use a knife or something to pry it open once you loosen it with the razor. now U have two options either solder the last leg like in the picture or do what i did since i can't solder and use the same razor to cut the leg be careful not to cut the one closest to it but with a lttle bit of pressure from the blade it should cut IT CAN BE DONE BECAUSE I DID IT. so after that pop it in the psp and it should light up green. Now for the hardest easiest part the magic memory stick. now if U follow my exact instructions this shoud work the fist time. first get the right memory stick, the one that comes in the bundle pack should work put it in the psp and format it FROM THE PSP. then download the kd and registry files from the link on the fist page and the pandora gui v1.5. connect the psp to computer or use the memory stick reader if your computer has one and open the kd and registry files and go to the desperta folder open it and copy everything inside then open the memory stick folder and paste don't put it in the mp.root folder paste in the root of the memory stick the on with mp root, psp all the main folders then open the pandora gui now here is another part no one mentions if you have windows xp or below then just open the gui if you are like me and a little late then u probally have vista so just right click on the gui before u open it and select run as adminstrator then once it's open go to write ipl and YOU ARE DONE put in the psp and it should work. ANY QUESTIONS?

right either i'm as thick as d@g sh@t or im messing up badly ive done everything to the letter used a ex reader added the extra files to the root , ie f: then put them straight in , also tried different variations in f: root but still nothing , think i'm gona beat your 8 hours at this rate ,goning bald and got a tick now please help !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! keeps saying that the game cannot be started grghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh , so close to having a psp work of art on my wall , please please this is brain damage helpppppppppppppppp i want teckon res ¬!!!!!!!!!!!

HMMM WELL can you be more specific? game cannot be started? are you trying to load pandora's battery creator etc?
i could help you out, i check this thread numerously. i like helpnig people out. i hack everyones psp at school free of charge. in this thread you are not suppose to load any homebrews cause you have a sony official frimware(i am assuming) PM me if you need help

i recently bought pandora's battery from amazon and it came with a 1 gig ms. it was ready to use.
and it doesn't work on my psp slim running ofw 3.95
when i put the pandora's battery in it gave me a black screen and
when i press x nothing happens
can somebody help me?
i also tried following this guide using the battery i purchased but no luck same thing happen.

This Is my First time Modding a PSP , I have opened one of my batteries and realised Its not the same as any In the Tutorials, so I opened my 2nd Battery and found the same, Ive read and found that other people have this problem, so I thought Id take Pictures and show that,
