* ok, its a day later and after reading the posts about explosive batterys im a bit worried. I opned the battery finaly and noticed a fine slit on the cell, not sure if its gone threw but its a visible line along it from when i was cutting the plastic. Ive charged it, and discharged it fully. Theres a minenoot smell but only when **i put my nose to the battery**. SHould i be throwin this battery away? I dont really wanna, money is tight!

rofl, toxic fumes

I was trying to remove the pin, and i poked it, and when i went under the pin to pull it, it all of a sudden release a puff of smoke, and i dropped it on the table. So what does that mean if it smoked? Did i short circuit something? I also tapped it up and tried turning on my psp with it and it still worked.

Never mindzors, i finally disconnected the pin by using toenail clippers, and grounding myself before even touching anywhere near the board, just to be sure not to short circuit.

Thanks, this is the most useful guide ive seen yet. ++ Ifyou have real steady hands, and dont have access to a desolderer, use a fine needle for sowing, poke into the arch of the pin, and use the "TE05" chip as a fulcrum, digging under the solder. If you do it right, youll pop the pin up off the green circuit board.
