Easy-To-Use Pandora's Battery Guide
The truth is PSP slim that come with firmware version 4.0 and higher are not hackable. I talk to those guys at tuconsola.com/brick-off-p-1077.htm and they confirmed it. I will hope that someone will find a hack but for now it's not possible. |

Easy-To-Use Pandora's Battery Guide
Hey Herc,
Just wanted to say THANKS for the wicked guide. I got myself a PSP 2001 and your guide is bloody brilliant! Nice and easy to follow (though digging out the gold line on my batter requires more effort than you allude to, LOL), and my PSP works like a charm.
Thanks again! |

well the point is i had a OFW slim frimeware 4.01 and i made it cfw.

Easy-To-Use Pandora's Battery Guide
Fucking amazing...
I had bought a Pandora premade (I suck at hacking hardware :P) and am running Vista on my gf's notebook... After a couple of tries with the Rain MMS Maker (I was doing something wrong), it just worked and now am on 4.01-M33 2!!
Big thanks to Hercules for this guide! |

I would love you to prove me wrong but first I have a few questions.
1st. Did you buy your PSP slim 2000 recently?
2nd. What was the firmware that originally came with it?
3rd. What method did you use to "hack" your PSP? |

Easy-To-Use Pandora's Battery Guide
I'm a first time PSP-modder, and I followed your guide just like you said...and it worked!!On my slim! This is great! Thanks very much for such a useful and easy to follow guide. I got lucky and bought a used battery for 20$ so I didn't have to cut open a new one. |

Easy-To-Use Pandora's Battery Guide
Heck, I thought I posted here before.
Thanks Hercules for such a wonderful guide, I managed to install 4.01 M33-2 in my Slim PSP with almost no fuss, after failed attempts at a manual installation. I also am very crap at hacking hardware myself (I just fried my Amiga 1200 :P), so I bought a Pandora battery from an online dealer from Hong Kong and all went easy
Those with Vista stop reading the commandline part and just download Rain's MMS maker, it will save you asking questions :P
Thanks again! |

I want to be sure of two things:
1) Do i need cfw modded psp to mod my psp fat with 3.95 ofw ?
2) Do i need another battery if i hard mod the battery, or can the hardmodded battery be used like a normal ?
you should add the requitments to the guide |

3 questions tho.
1) How do I go to 3.90 M33? it has 3.80M33
2) with my battery, and the MMC card I made can I mod other people's PSPs without modding their battery just using mine? I have 3 people who will give me $10 for modding theirs
3) I know this doesnt belong here, so do anyonehave a link to a place that will show me how to rip PS1 games and play them on my psp, and how to play dled psp games? | |

Alright, so I broke my PSP I think. I turned it on and it says "missing 3.71 PBP" or something and then shuts off. I tried using my regular PSP battery and it is still at a blank screen. I can't access the files since I can't activate USB mode.
So what do I do? Do I need a new memory stick or something? Its a PSP phat, btw. |
