Default Easy-To-Use Pandora's Battery Guide

Im completely new to this psp modding thing, but after some reading i decided to go straight into creating a Pandora's Battery, but i cant even seem to mod the battery (fat) itself because everytime i go to pry open the battery case (after cutting the left side) there are some sparks followed by some smoke and an odd smell, i think my fingernail came into contact with the motherboard. Would i need a new battery?
Thanks in advance
The case is virtually impossible for me to remove from the cut (fairly deep) i made in the left side, is it ok for me to cut around the entire case?

Default Easy-To-Use Pandora's Battery Guide

Excellent work Hercules,

Two weeks back I got my first PSP SLIM (piano black) with OFW 3.72 + Sony 4GB Memory Card + Shyphonfilter - LOGAN"S SHADOW game.

Spent sleepless nights tring to figure out how to install CFW

Today i went from OFW 3.90 to CFW 3.90 M33-2 within a druration of 2 hours.

*) Cutting of the battery was the easiest part.
*) Modded the battery by carving a line instructed by the battery circuit
diagram. (because of which still can recharge the battery)
*) Made the Magic Memory Stick by using Catb50 Team's Magic Memory Stick
Creator v2..
*) On the PSP end, while holding L .. inserted the battery .. which
automaticaly presented me with the Installation Options. The power lights
were solid green though after the battery was inserted, i think . only
during the Flashing process the memory stick & WLAN lights were going
crazy.
And within no time i had CFW 3.80 M33-5.

Only had a slight issue with the Catb50 Team's Magic Memory Stick Creator
v2.0 application on windows XP SP2.. after the second format the software wouldn’t copy the contents of the MS_ROOT Folder on to the Memory Stick.
Had to do it manually when it gave the error that it couldn’t copy to G:
i did try both the full version and the lite version.

After that everything went smoothly ..

I am a Noob to PSP .. and got things done because of your guide...

Thanks & Kind Regards from INDIA,
Axe101

because you can not boot normally with a hardmodded psp battery (pandora), but you can download and install Time Machine (pruple text) and it will let your pandora batter for any case..or you can buy an extra battery so you can have a back-up
