Default Easy-To-Use Pandora's Battery Guide

Hey guys I finally decided to hack my psp fat that I bought a few years ago. I already made a magic mmory stick and now am going to make a pandoras battery. When I popped open my battery I was suprised to find the mother board on top of the battery and it looks similar to the slim battery. I dont know which leg to take off because the battery looks different from the one in the guide. I figuered it should look like the fat battery b\c I have a fat psp.

Can someone please direct me to the proper guide for this type of battery.

Here are some pics of my battery which came with my fat psp:

Thanks

Default Easy-To-Use Pandora's Battery Guide

Hey everyone. First of all, thx a mill for the guide Hercules! It's extremely helpful!! I've just now made the changes to my battery, and I think I've successfully created a pandora bat. Also, my battery is a "PSP-S110" modell. However; It still lookes exactly like the one on your pic Hercules (Credit to ONE), so the modding was easy enough. I'm now off to try to get ahold of a compatible mem-card, cus obviously I didn't bother to get one . The process of opening the battery was easy enough, and took roughtly 5-10 min of work. My tip to future modders is that you can actually go quite hard/fast in the beginning. Only when I got a "crack" in the middle part did i slow down. However; you obviously need to be slightly carefull not to break or rip anything. NO SMOKE, NO SPARKXX! Also, I used a flat-sided screwdriver to "pop" open the locking mechanisms when I first got the one side open. As far as I can tell, I did it right, 'cus when i insert the battery the power goes on (green light), and nothing happens (black screen). This is ofc due to the lacking mem-card(I hope). Will report back ASAP!

/runs off to get mem-card

Oli

Ty. I've got a friend with a mem-card, and he said he'd let me borrow it. He won't be home in a couple of hours though. So I guess all I can do is wait. When I get it, I'll be sure to post the result ASAP!

On a side-note, I cannot use PM's yet. I joined today Never knew about this awesome site untill now! Boy, have I been missing out =)

Hey agian Hack3r. Not quite sure what you mean by "12 year old flamers"? I think I have the files needed to make the MMS downloaded already. Isn't it the "The file you Need" folder?

I'm sorry to say that I'm what we call a "n00b". I've never actually been part of a forum before, only read them. So I do not know what you mean by "make an intro thread".

Thanxx again

Hey again! Got my mem-card now. Modded it according to the guide (Flawlessly, I might add). Popped the pandora battery in, whilst holding down the "L" button, and guess what... IT WORKED! I am now the proud owner of a Hacked PSP! ALL HAIL HERCULES (and posters, who also helped)!!!

Now to install Grandia onto it! If this works, I'll be in heaven! *flail*

Ty!!

Oli

Update: GRANDIA WORKS!! OMGOMGOMG! I've played now for 'bout 12 hours straight! TY AGAIN HERCULES!:P

Default Easy-To-Use Pandora's Battery Guide

Hey guys, I have a bit of a problem. I'm at the end of the guide, pop in the battery, press x and it installs the 3.71 thing. But then it says press x to shutdown, do that, turn it back on and it just wants to install again, wether the battery is in or not. Something I'm doing wrong?

Dude... take the MMS out and use a normal battery to boot it back up without the MMS in.
