Default Easy-To-Use Pandora's Battery Guide

OMG OMG OMG!!! I can't believe I did it! And all by myself too! I kinda got scared when I cut the pin on the 1C04 chip as it let out a small sizzle and a lil' puff of smoke... but my battery didn't get hot... so I risked it! and it worked!!! WOOT WOOT! This guide was very helpful! Thank you sooooo much!

As we say in England,

Im " Dead Chuffed "

Thanks for the Brill guide, I Sh*T my pants when the Battery Smoked though.
Time to get all my beloved PS1 games on this bad boy.

Just one thing, The guide you have about making a Magic disk, Didnt work for me. But i created a second using a guide from this forum and it worked fine.
Its the part in Dos where it should say

The last line should say " Write MS BOOT CODE

It didnt, it came up with some other stuff like " IBL " or whatever.

No worries, i installed 5.00 m33-6 instead, Hope its just as good or better.

No, there is currently nothing you can do to downgrade.

I suppose I should've thought of that...

It will only work if your Slim has a motherboard of ta-088v2 or lower.

If your PSP came with 3.95 OFW or lower when you took it out of the box then Pandora will work.

Default Easy-To-Use Pandora's Battery Guide

Hi, i'm trying to mod a slim psp 2001 with firmware 5.50 but I'm having problems. I have a FAT pandora, (modded myself thanx to the guide and pics) so that may be the problem. i have done this to a fat psp and it worked perfectly, but when i put in the pandora and magic memory stick the psp 2001 turns on, but the screen stays black even when holding L...
Help?

You've got the currently unhackable (via Pandora anyway) ta-088v3 motherboard.

Not only that, but you're on 5.50 so there's nothing you can do. DO NOT update your PSP anymore. You'll have to wait for an exploit to be released for 5.50.

Correct, and there's nothing you can do about it.
