I did exactly that, and it didn't work. My MMS is correctly set-up, and I definately got the right pin...

Thanks for your help matey, i've now tried everything so i'm guessing its a patched battery.

I'm going to pick up a tool battery, but you can get them for £9.99 on amazon you know...

Thanks again!

thanks hercules used your guide to make my pandora and mms, sweet. worked a treat.

one question,
with the file "desperator v3" is it possible to change it so it installs 3.90 m33 instead of 3.71 m33.

this would help the noobs in only having to do the one update.
and only using the one mms for upgrading.

yeah there is...you can use desperator v5, but i use Dv3, because it allows you to learn how to upgrade, plus 3.71m33-2 is a great way to discover new things, then once you upgrade you can see the differences n different versions

Default Easy-To-Use Pandora's Battery Guide

Well, I opened my battery to find out there is no motherboard or anything. A few minutes research and I find out that Sony started making hack proof batteries. I guess that's what I get when I try to save a few bucks and use a PSP battery I got from a friend.

Well I ordered a battery and it should be here in a week. The only thing I need to do is make the MMS, but with this walk through, I shouldn't have a problem.

Still kinda pissed though, the phat battery I used was at 5 percent and we had to wait for it to get to 80 before starting only to find out we just wasted some time.

well, i cant speak spanish, and i dont want to use a translator, but to answer your quesiton, your magic memory stick is not properly formatted. you will need to re-do, here are some tips:
- make sure you have xp
- make sure you follow the step that says disable usb
- make sure at the end it says write ms boot code

that are the three major factors for incorrect magic memory sticks....good luck

How will you know when you have Pandora'ed your Battery? I have a slim (God of War PSP, if that makes any difference) and followed all of the steps listed, and my PSP is still telling me that it's running 3.93 firmware.

thats not a bad idea, using xp as a virtual os, but one thing you have to have a legal copy of xp, but still thats not a bad idea
