Easy-To-Use Pandora's Battery Guide
my battery sparked and shit after I started trying to cut. I'm pretty sure that's a no-go, right?
I'm actually feelin' kinda down
if someone would be so kind as to tell me there's a cheap battery I can buy, I'd be happy staying off the mod scene for a while.

Easy-To-Use Pandora's Battery Guide
Well, I bought a new battery to do this. (a Max Power 3.6v 1800mah) but thought I'd try Sony PSP-110. I opened it up and I noticed it was nothing like the ones in the diagrams, i then noticed that my battery cannot be made in to a pandora but i gave it a go anyway. i had a puff of smoke come out as i was struggling to get the pin out but the pin wouldnt budge. i put it back in the psp but i just had a blank screen with a green light, and an orange light when i charge it. I put my new battery in to make sure it wasnt bricked and it worked fine.
I thought id download the programs for the MMS anyway. I have a supported sandisc 2gb MS. So i went through easy guide using my new battery and follwed the instructions until it come up with congratulations. i replaced the new battery with the iffy old battery while plugged in to the ac and kept my finger on 'R', but then realised that the green light just stays on anyway so that didnt work.
So i guess that battery is a gonner. My only problem is, do i try and pandorise my max power battery???
any suggestions?? thoughts??
Its a fat 3.71ofw by the way.
thanks (and sorry for the long post |

what is your operating system? i see that you made it to the green screen, but before that, did it say Write MS BOOT CODE...it seems to me that your sony battery is still functional if it turns on the psp, so im guessing your MMS was wrong, if you have vista try going to xp, even though people say its possible to get it to work on vista, i have been unsuccessful many time, and as soon as a i went back to XP, it work...i am only saying what i have done and tested, so other users there is no need to fuss me out for saying vista does not work...also deathcabforkieran, you may need to update you .net framework |

Im on xp so thats not the problem.
It doesnt say anything cos i cant actually turn it on although i thought it was strange that the green light was coming on.
when i downloaded the easy install i clicked on the 'begin' file and just went through that.
it did say in there to do something with 11 digits?? or something but i just pressed enter as i didnt know what to put there. i wonder if thats something to do with it?
im sorry i dont know what a .net framework is.
thanks for taking time out to help me btw. |

try using your windows update to get the lastest .net framework...and try making the mms manually, if you use my guide, it should make it completely easy |

I killed 2 batteries that way myself. A rather expensive past time. |

thanks | you know if it the last line of the creation says: Write MS BOOT CODE
if you dont see that, then you dont have a correct MMS, but i saw on DAX's site you can create on thru linux |

well, first off, my PSP seems to not want to co-operate with my computer, so I'm halfway screwed already. then, my battery got punctured and I'm wondering if I just need the PCB on the top of the battery to do the pandora modification. if so, that would be good, because it's currently completely seperated from the battery. |
