Default Easy-To-Use Pandora's Battery Guide

I followed the Instructions with my phat and when i go to install CFW nothing happens. I put the MMS in first then put my Pandora Battery in but the lights do nothing. My PSP says my battery is 100% charged. When I plug my PSP into my PC via Usb it says Pandora F:. Is there anything that you could think of that i've done wrong.

All Help Appreciated

Default Easy-To-Use Pandora's Battery Guide

This is were im stuck, when i type in the command and press Y it says

"Open error <read>."

I have no idea what to do and ive spent 4 hours tring to mod my psp can u please help me?

- Left Click the C: drive once (Note: if you double click, it will open C: drive)
- Now RIGHT Click on C: drive and PASTE
- format your memory stick thru your psp (Settings>System Settings>Format Memory Stick)
- once that is done, enable USB mode
- make note of your drive letter (usually E: or F)
- open up command propmt (click Start, select Run, type in cmd and hit enter_
- Type in the following command "CD C:\" (note: with-out quote mark) HIT enter
- type the following command "mspformat\mspformat.exe X" ( where X=psp drive letter) note: NO quotation
- hit enter button
- hit Y, then press enter
(for some people who are confused on this part, here is a side note: guess i wasnt clear enough, you type mspformat\mspformat.exe E if your drive letter is E, if it is another letter use that letter, then press enter, then hit y, then press enter again...sorry
- it should say "Drive succesfully formatted, and partition moved."

Default Easy-To-Use Pandora's Battery Guide

Did anybody notice something similar:
When I copy huge games (>1GB) directly to PSP, the copy seems to be fine(no error msg), but the game wont work?!?
If I copy the same game through my Memory Card Reader, everything is OK.

Strange, isn't?

Default Easy-To-Use Pandora's Battery Guide

Can I get some help? I got the Pandora's Battery working (I think) and the MMS is working properly...

1. When I start my PSP and press X like you said "press X to install 3.71 m33-2...just set the psp down, do not take out the battery..it should say "install sucess. press X to reboot" press X" there isn't anything to press X on other than "saved data utility" which isn't what I need...

2. When I try to run the DCv3 in the MMS thing, I get an error that says "The game could not be started. (80020148)"

I did the holding down the L button and put in the battery thing, all it did was start up normally.

Thanks in advance ^_^

Okay, never mind that last post, I'm an idiot. But when I try to hold L and put in the battery, nothing happens. No light, no screen, nothing....

Default Easy-To-Use Pandora's Battery Guide

Great guide, thanks Hercules.

I bought this pandora battery from dealextreme: "Hybrid 2-in-1 Digitally Activated Pandora PSP 2000 Unbricker Service + Normal 1200mAh Battery" (can't post a URL yet...)

I used my original sony 1GB card that came with my PSP, and followed the guide, everything went flawlessly.

Thanks.

Default Easy-To-Use Pandora's Battery Guide

Thank you so much for this guide! I had just bought a pandora battery to do this on Sunday, and it came in today, and probably within 30mins-1hr I had custom firmware on my PSP thanks to this easy-to-follow guide.

The battery works like an unmodifyed battery!
