617 - Easy-To-Use Pandora's Battery Guide [Needs updating/redoing]
Hey, I just bought my psp today and I had a few questions. I can mod the psp that I bought straight from the box right? and for the cutting of the battery, is it parrallel on the line, or do I cut perpendicular? It seems like a cut on the line which is what u say in the guide wouldn't do too much logically as the circuit is still free to flow. I have a psp slim btw, also I do not see the fifth pin on the picture. Thanks
also i've read about sony making their new batteries pandora proof? is this true? and how do we know if our battery is capable of being made into a pandora thanks

I didn't really read through all the comments in this thread, but I couldn't get the battery to work just by simply cutting that gold wire on the circuit board. I cut all the way through to the other side and nothing happened.
I did get it to work, however, by removing that pin. |

Awesome guide man. Really appreciate it even though I have already learned this. But, it will help someone out there.

I followed it and cut along that gold wire and it didn't work. Tried it deeper, didn't work. Kept trying deeper until I cut through the board and it still didn't work. Then, I removed that pin and it worked fine. |

I only ask as i convert a lot of mates psp's and it is easier to just convert straight to 3.9m33 while at work, then they have the latest update and can auto update from the psp without messing up and me having to do it again.

I have a question, after I follow this walkthrough, (which does kick some butt BTW) should I keep the 3.71 m33-2 or get 3.90 m33-2 CFW? Do I need the later versions? |

I did all you said and i'm pretty sure i cut the batery at the right place but my psp will keep coming on. It doesn't blink either. I dont think I can keep cutting the battery at the same place over and over before it'll mess up. help? |
