What do you solder the razor to to make this work. Will this hack work with a replacement nub from ebay, or do I need to start from scratch? I want to preform this mod on my PSP slim, but I do not know where to begin, or if it will work with a replacement nub. Great work by the way, keep it up!

What do you hook the abxy trace wires, razor x board, and powerboard up to? I get that you solder the abxy traces, but what happens to the other end? And what do you solder the razor board to? Surely you don't simply put it back in the PSP do you?

I tried the mod, but it didn't work. What hook's up the power board to the rest of the system? Since nothing else went wrong with the instructions, I suspect this is the problem

I tried this mod on my PSP phat and it works! Thanks to Chaos Faction, Ghost death, and superbatman for helping me out. Could you do this mod on a PSP slim following the sme instruction but using different wire traces on the powerboard?

This mod isn't all that difficult. It's a question of getting the wires you soldered to the trace boards to maked contact with the spring and razor board. Once you've done that, it's a walk on easy street. Here's an easy way od knowing where to dremel.
1. Put some tape over the second nub
2. Put some bright paint on the tape
3. Place the faceplate over the PSP
7. The paint should leave a circle shaped mark on the side on the PSP. Dremel the area that is covered.

This mod is great for fps games, as well as a way to hone ones soldering skills

you don't solder the razor contacts to anything besides the powerboard, you tin the contacts enough to make contact with the analog metal spring and it acts as a switch between each contact and the center ground, depending on which way it is pressed.

It should be connected to the rest of your PSP via a small brownish "Ribbon Cable". The plug-in is near the left, bottom corner of the PSP LCD screen.

but has decided to be a sleaze and email oh i sent oh i move every 2 of my family members died story after story thing but i fork up your psp
just beware cause he has gone around offering mod service to many other sites

third 1 post is right as i am a member of another site with over 2,500 post
and another with 2,000 post have been a member of those sites for some time
I posted this here to keep him from trying to rip other members off from other sites
we have a code at other sites where we protect each other from crooks sorry if i did something
wrong for considering others that may not be able to recover from dishonest people
but instead of seeing it that way you look to try and flame some one with 1 post like a jack az

Either you have him confused with some guy that steals PSPs, or you were being retarded and gave him the wrong mailing address, and some happy kid in China has your PSP.
