for some reason my psp started acting up today while playing the sims. it shut off. whenver i turn it on, the green light stays on but the psp shows n functionaility. i have to take out the battery jsut to turn it off. after doing this several times, i was able to get it to finally start up, but when it did, it would freeze after about three seconds and turn off. any idea what the problem could be? thanks

Sounds like a defect, if you still have warrenty try calling sony.
unfortuneately for me, i bought this from a guy off ebay who repairs psp's then resells them
sell it to ebgames, and buy a used one that might be downgradable, etc
WARRANTY**
Not warrenty

i've about given up on this thing. It wont turn on anymore. would it be better to go ahead and buy a new one with a warrenty or buy another one off ebay?
I would've though that you learned your lesson from buying em off ebay. I would go with a used one from EB or gamestop, lower price, and you still get a warranty.

god, we know what they mean when they say warrenty or warranty. it doesn't matter.
