Hey I just bougt a psp today and wanted to "hack" it , but im really lost in all this various versions, motherboards, downgrading firmware and hacks u can choose from ...

Now I got a IC-1003 motherboard ?
and my firmware is 2.71
oh , and im from europe if it matters ^^

Well , my question is really - what should I do to be able to run iso's etc without using an UMD disc.. and if I have to downgrade to fx. version 1.5

I hope you can help me I dont want to mess up this little fine expensive machine =)

yea, i definatlly request downgrading first then updating to 3.03oe-a, just be carfull that your not accidentally updating to the regular 3.03.
