try taking the battery out for 5 minutes then trying again
sell it on ebay and say its a limited edition, only one ever made.
lmao. thats a good one rob
i've just tried that and it didnt work. N e other ideas????
cheers
Was the light green with the battery out...![]()
no, but turned straight back on again wen i put the battery back in, without me even turning on the psp ><
so your psp still comes on, but the green light stays on after you switch it off, well atleast it is not a brick
try to completely shut it off, hold the power switch up until the psp turns off, take it out and leave it out for like 30 mins, sometimes all an electronic device needs is a nice cool down
things just get wierder, its now turned off as quickly as it turned on. cheers for ur time guys, much appreciated =]
huh? wth? huh, try taking the battery out for 30 minutes, im thinking it might be one of a couple thingsOriginally Posted by ElTel
either you got a bad power switch, or battery, or its totally fine and its just acting up
Maybe you have the fabled "Developer PSP" Cough * http://www.pspmod.com/forums/showthread.php?t=12317 (XMB always on RSS when waking up?) * but seriously, it might be because of the IDStorage changer during the TA-082 downgrade. The IDStorage downgrader unfortunately had some side effects to some unlucky psp's. I have the brightness bug and USBHOSTFS bug. Basically the IDStorage changed some keys around and you got a really weird one, IF this occured AFTER you used the IDStorage changer then I'm pretty certain its due to the IDStorage. It's a shame Dark_Alex didn't remind us to back it up, but we were all excited so its not his fault. Mathieulh is revising the IDStorage but no word on when it will be released. Depending how annoying this is, your options are to wait for the new IDStorage (not sure if this will fix it or how it will patch post-patched TA-082's), send it back to sony( you'll be updated to 3.03), sell it on ebay and buy a new one or trade it with a friend. You could try the 30 min battery or even reinstalling the FW, but I highly doubt it will fix it as its probably a problem in your IPL and/or IDStorage.
Shit like PSPs don't "act up." Something is wrong, that LED has a constant hot and I guess it reads that battery charge. Try recovery and reinstallation maybe?Originally Posted by psp
