I don't think it will ever come to North America. It was supposed to, but then it took a backseat to the PS3.

If you're so intent on getting one, just head over to play-asia.com and order one. I'm still waiting on mine with eager anticipation.

I don't have the camera yet, but from what I've read about it, this is what I've gathered:

The camera has no language on it per sÃÆâ€℠¢ÃƒÆ’‚©. You simply attatch it to the PSP and provided you're running 3.00 or higher, you can use it without any additional software.

If you are not running 3.00 or higher, then you'll have to use the included UMD. The UMD, while playable on all PSPs (PSP-100x), is in Japanese. I've read around and heard that despite it being in Japanese, it's not all too hard to figure out. It contains some after effects you can add to your snapshots and videos. When using the UMD, you are limited to 15 seconds of video.

Of course, as I said before, if you're running 3.00 or higher, then you won't even need the UMD. Also, if you're running 3.00 or higher, then you won't be limited to 15 seconds of video. You can simply record until your memory stick runs out of room.

Both the official Sony and custom firmware 3.00+ have native camera support.

Really good little camera. No software required although you can download go!edit for free. Takes images and videos, either 320 x 240, 480 x 272, 640 x 480 or 1280 x 960. It Also has some built in effects.

damn, thats with the Chotto.. pretty nice picture quality, aren't they like 1.3 or 1.5 MegaPixel? sheesh for $40 Its a steal since I dont take to many pictures anyways.

Yep. 1.3 Mega Pixels. Also, the video and sound quality is good too.

there seem really cool this awesome editing program stright from the psp.
ill have to see if any game shop's have them yet.
