I was confused abt how to resolve corrupted data problem with my movies and music ... today i saw this >> LINK
Is it true , does USB cable have somthing to do with my corrupted data problem?
I am currently using miniUSB cable that came with my Motoming A1200 ..

04-06-2007, 01:18 PM ok i now have a new problem , I somehow figured out how the corrupted data problem on my 4 GB card occurs..
I can save movies , music upto 500 MB , but when i exceed that , corrupted data problem occurs.
So if i keep isos within 450 MB (Call of duty) , i can play as well as save , but cant with isos larger than 530 MB ,(eg. NFS carbon :830 MB) , i cant even get it to load.
So is it possible that the my card is actually a card of less capcity , i think like 512 MB , made to read as 4GB ?
Or is it due to wrong formatting (i tried formatting thro windows)?
Please please help me
04-06-2007, 04:55 PM I had that problem to but I think it was the memory card. I got a new memory card and I have no problems with corrupt data any longer.

But i dont understand one thing.
My card says it has "3958 MB" remaining , after a fresh format , wherever i format it , it is same.
But if i copydata more than 512 MB , my psp says data corrupted., thouhg i can copy data upto 3.8 GB .
Where does all the copied data go ?
is there any program (windows or LInux) to find the exact data of the card?
04-09-2007, 02:48 PM Try using a different usb cable (from a friend or sumthin), if you still have probelms get a new memory card. have you tried usuing a diff memcard with the same cable?
