Hi
I'm a fairly new PSP owner after recently purchasing a PSP with the dark alex 3.10 OE custom firmware.
I had a 1gb memory card with the unit which works fine but I upgraded to a 4gb Sony Duo card the other day (definitely a real card!).
I formatted the memory card and then put some homebrew stuff on there along with some avi files etc. but for some reason it only seems to play or see the first thing on the card. If I select anything after this I get the PSP flash screen then just a black screen and no further loading. I then can't turn the unit off or reset and had to take the battery out (unfortunately I did get the instructions with the unit).
I'm sure I have read something about this problem somewhere but haven't been able to find it again. Does anyone know what might be causing this and what I need to do to correct this so I can access everything on the card?
Cheers

QUESTION ABOUT BOTH PSP PHAT OR SLIM PM ME.
I'm pretty sure it's a proper card as it was bought from a well known large supplier and it doesn't have any of the usual give away's of being a fake following the online guides available.
I avoided ebay and those places due to all of the fakes so I'm hoping a regular shop wouldn't be dealing with fakes.
Also says Magicgate compatible when you view the information about the card on the PSP.
