I have read everything about the Pandora battery. I more confused now than ever about it all. Do I have to open the battery and cut the pin to make a Pandora battery? I have tried to make it using one of the guides and still can't get it right. Can anyone point me in the right direction to get this done.

You need to buy a REAL Sony battery. A lot of batteries from eBay or other online stores are fake!

    He's talking about hardware wise.

To make the pandora hardmodded, you need to cut or desolder the 4th pin on the IC04 part.

Only batteries that look like that - some batteries have that covered and therefore can't reach it. Thats why buying a proper Sony battery is the best thing to do
