Im running Firmware 3.52 (standard) and when I charge my psp i do untill it says full battery but then i play a game and it goes flat in like 20mins. Is this because its hooked up to pc so that it thinks its full. Or just the fact that 20mins doesnt really fill it?
Thanks for your help in advance.

P.S Sorry i forgot, i bought my psp second hand, so i dont have a wall charger yet, or a lot of other things =\.

ive charged mine throgh the pc plenty of times and had a full charge. you need to charge it more than 20mins on the pc. pc charges it slower than a wall charger. even on a wall charger you need more than 20mins.

I think that it is the fact that you bought it second hand. The maximum capacity of a battery decreases over time. So if the previous owner had the PSP for a long time and used it often, then I wouldn't be surprised if it dosn't last long. You might want to try buying a new battery, maybe the new one with extended capacity.![]()
well mine takes a few hours for a full charge even on a wall charger
i agree with kkrizka. it sounds like you are reaching the end of your battery. rechargeables will degrade over time, and the amount of charge it will hold drops. i have a cordless phone that only holds about 15 minutes of talk time now. and i notice i have to charge my cell phone more often now. get a new battery and you should be fine.
