Game Gurus! PSP Console Advise...

Hello Gurus!
I am planning to buy a PSP 2000 Console over Amazon for 165 USD. Should i have a mod chip installed for sure inorder to play all types of games from ISO or memory card? Or can i downgrade the firmware to play from Duo Pro? I am a newbee on this, So please suggest me as to what i best so that i can order on Monday. Cant really wait...

You are going to need to put CF on your psp to be able to play games off your MS. You are going to need a Pandoras Battery and MMS to be able to put CF on your psp. I sell Pandoras Batteries and MMSs.....if you need one just send me a PM.

I think that was a chip that was released just a couple of days before pandora was announced. It does what pandora does, only it is a chip that has to be soldered on to the psps board....so it is a lot more work then pandora and may only work on certain model psps....prolly only on fats.

I went through a lot of methods of creating Pandora's and MMC. But to create a MMC i need a PSP with 1.5 firmware which i dont have. Mine is 3.90 updated version. Can anyone help me in getting 1.5 and program to create pandora's?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

You should just hard-mod your battery or buy one from somebody.

you dont need cfw to create a mms. Download the files at this link and scroll down to the guide down the page some and follow that guide http://www.pspmod.com/forums/downloa...?do=file&id=22
Also, there is no need to downgrade to 1.5, as a matter of fact, the slim psp can not do it. Oh, one other thing, your going to need a computer with xp with service pack 2 and a up to date .net framework to make the mms.

Well if i need not do downgrade to 1.5 on slim (Since it wouldnt do it) how do i play the ISO and CFO files? If i just create the MMS using your link, is that good to go if i have a pandora battery? Also let me know how to create one for my Slim. Since some one said, i cant make a pandora out of it since sony checked it in the new packs..

Can i use this Datel Tool? and if i have it, can i just create an MMS and uleash my psp?

You play ISO/CSo files by upgrading your psp to CF. I am not sure about his link....but all you need is a Pandoras Battery and MMS to put CF on your psp. The Datel Tool Battery does the exact same thing as the Pandoras Battery.

If you use these files and guide you will not have to use whatever guide was in his link. Just download these files install them on your MMS following the guide and use it with the Pandoras Battery. Here are the files you need: Click Me!

Use the files in my post. It will bring you to 3.71 M33-2 . From there you can upgrade to 3.90 M33 .

Hello Gurus!
I have found a pandora battery for 12 USD in this link:

But he did not mention if it is for fat or slim. So can i use the same fat one for my slim by removing the battery cover to flash my PSP? PLease advice so that i can buy it right away.

A fat pandora can be used in a slim, but a slim battery cant be used in a fat. Since you have a slim, then it doesnt matter if that battery is fat or a slim.
