Hi, my psp screen is really getting screwed up for some reason, so im sending it in for repair. I just have one question- Should I put the official firmware back into the psp, or should i leave it as is? I had to pay $90 for the repair, because it isnt under warranty, and i don't want them sending it back because it has CFW in it. Thanks

but you might want to make a pandora battery/mms before it goes, that way you can get right back into CFW
hope it goes well for you

thanks for the replies, I have the pandora's battery, but do you guys knows how long it will take for sony to send back the psp? Once again, thanks.
took a wk and a half for me

but thats because i got a replacement
EDIT: i remembered it was MLK weekend too so it might be less for you

ok, i just hope it doesnt get lost in shipping![]()
man i was afraid my psp did when i shipped it out

lol a screen only cost $35, even doing the services would be another $15. Man you got rip
yeah, but whenever I try to fix something, I make it worsebesides, can't you mess up the LCD pretty easily?
Screens are fairly easy to replace. I honestly think that you got raped by sony for the repair, 90 bucks to fix the screen is too much.
Also my psp is also being repaired but it is still under warranty and I also wonder how long it will take. It has been 1 week and a half already and still no signs. Im starting to believe that sony found out that my psp was modded and threw my psp in the nuclear waste basket.
make sure you insure your package so if it does get lost you get your money insure it for $250 (price of psp plus lost of saved content if it gets lost)
