04-05-2008, 05:27 AM I was looking at Acid mods UMD Jewlery mod, and was wondering if this was possible. Is it possible to cut the central plastic piece out of the UMD door and somehow replace it with engraved plexiglass or some other sort of transparent plastic (glue it in somehow)? Is there a PSP store that sells them prefabbed?

04-05-2008, 05:54 AM oh ok. I just found a thread on acidmods that describes what I need to do. I guess you have to use a dremel tool to make a hole in the UMD door, and then buy a jewel and make sure the hole is smaller than the jewel and snap it in.
04-05-2008, 06:17 AM yeah that would work, but the only reason i can see to even change the back cover to a clear one is to see the goings on inside right? seems like a pointless addon if its clear and all you do is see the back -.-

I know that there are faceplates for the Slim, but I thought that there were backplates for it as well.
