I got my Datel slim tool battery through the post the other day ready to mod my new slim psp 2003 PB model. I have booted the system with the normal battery fine, plugged in the AC charger and then swapped the normal battery to the tool battery.
The orange light stays on solid and the battery information says 0% charge, external power source and "charging". However, its been like this for over an hour now and is still on 0%. If I take out the power cable the psp dies straight away.
Is there something I need to be doing to make sure it charges? Or is it a broken battery - its brand new and I'm going away travelling for 2 months in 4 days
Any help would be really appreciated.

Well after about 1 hour, as I was about to give up it suddenly hit 1%.
Its now been going for just over 2 hours and its only 42% and rising, so I'm just going to leave it and leave it until it hits 100% and then try setting up the CFW tomorrow evening.
Thanks for the help![]()
