    Hi, im trying to install CFW to a psp slim with OFW 3.72
    Ive read MANY guides on this and used a lot of magic memory stick progs. Ive also got a pandora fat psp battery.

    Every time I try to install when I put the bat in it just stays on the black screen with a green light. Ive tried holding L1 like everyone says, ive tried with and without the AC adaptor but I never get the flashing lights. What could be wrong? I know that other people have the same prob too so Im not alone. This problem has never been answered in any guides.
    If someone out there can help me im sure youll be helping many others too when they read this.

    Your pandora battery is dead.

    Plugin your psp with its normal battery in and turn it on. Then take out your battery and put in your pandora. Leave it in until its at 100% Then it'll work just fine

    I think the problem is your Magic MS..
    Try reinstalling it again.. Install the IPL correctly..
    theres and IPL error there if it doesnt boot to pandora..

    @Djmrman
    Im using XP pro

    Oh I should also mention Im using only a 65mb sony memory stick duo. It still fits the files with a couple mb to spare so I dont see that being a problem, but some guides say no lower that 250mb. Will this make any difference?

    edit: I just read that it has to be a memory PRO duo and not a normal memory duo. Is this true? Because if it is then its probably my problem as Im only using a normal memory duo

    Yes it has to be at least a 256mb memory stick PRO duo. And don't triple post.

    Late issues of Magic MS is OK for 64 MB..
    If you use later versions like despertar cementerio or UPMS, it requires 256 or higher..

    I have the same problem as chum. Trying many different methods and PSP will not read memory stick. MMS light never turns on. OFW 3.80 slim. Tried Totalnewbi, am downloading Ultimate MMS Creator now. I am skeptical because the MMS light never comes on, never reads to see what is on the MMS. Are newer PSP Slims been fixed for pandora battery? Have a new trick to get it to read off the MMS? TIA
