How to Hack your PSP to 4.01 M33-2 (The Easy Way) | Code Retard

is there a way I can softmod my slim?

please don't post anything about mms's, I have a fully functional one

my battery functions as a normal battery, ive cut out the trace, removed the bottom right ico4 pin, ive done everything!

if anyone knows how to softmod or properly hardmod the psp-s110 slim battery i would be super grateful

also I don't know anyone with a hacked psp, so don't post about ways that you need a psp with cfw on it

you need a PSP with CFW to softmod your slim.

EDIT: Didn't see the post lol. Anyway, I don't believe there is a way to softmod any PSP without first having a PSP with CFW. Best shot at this point is investing in a Pandora battery.

you have not cut the pin right, make sure the pin is completely off

he said that the pin was off, though i would suggest double and triple checking to make sure, cause that should deffinitly work. ive hardmodded a bunch of phat and slim batteries and once that pin was out it worked.

you can softmod it, but like the people above me said, you need another psp with cfw to do that.

ive cut out the part of the circuitboard that has the trace. unless the electricity is jumping the gap, its not connecting

yes, but you can also remove a small pin on a chip in the battery to convert it into a pandora...removing the trace is far more easier, but i always do both just to be safe.

as for softmodding, im not very good with that

I removed it and this is what happens now

"i put it in and get a green light and a black screen....." lol jk no, I wish

it works as a normal battery, and whenever I plug it in the orange charging light turns on. I go to system options>battery info and it says 100%...It holds a charge, if I unplug it I can still play etc.

is it possible my battery is unpandorable (I bought my psp in canada if it matters)
