    If you have enough money, by all means.
    You don't want to face the unopenable battery of doom, just to find out you broke it and it can't be returned because you cracked it in half.

    Psp History: 2.70 -> 3.50 -> Pandora (1.50) -> 3.52 m33 -> 3.71 m33 -> Brick -> Pandora (1.50) -> 3.52 m33 -> 3.80 m33 -> 3.90 m33 -> Brick -> Long wait -> Pandora (1.50) -> 3.52 m33 -> 4.01 m33 -> Brick -> another long wait -> Pandora (4.01) -> 5.01 m33

    Phew.

    LOL!! itach7^^^^^^^

    A Pandora Battery is kind of like homebrew but inside that battery which allows for you to either Downgrade any PSP or unbrick a bricked PSP. *You run a program on a homebrew-enabled PSP that will convert a standard PSP battery into a jigkick battery. Note that you can't then use that battery normally - so you should use a spare one. You run a program to generate the unbricker memory stick image, built from the v1.5 update EBOOT (note that this, and the custom IPL, means the release is completely free of Sony copyright materials). You run some programs on a PC to install the image to your memory stick.Then you insert it tnto the psp, then put the battery into your psp, then it turns on by itself then sterts to unbrick or install custom firmware onto you psp. You can also hardmod a battery. HERE:::Hercules Pandoras Battery Guide

    The battery is not like a homebrew all it does is stops the PSP from reading the IPL from the PSP and forces it to read it from the 16th block of the MS.You CAN use a Pandora as a normal battery either with Booster's Multi-IPL installed or the TimeMachin IPL.The files that are on the MMS are SONY files so they are not free of copyright laws.

    He could be doing some flash0 theme mods, or constantly changing his CFW, that he might need to use it as an un-bricking tool...
