My analog is a pain. I just got this psp a few days ago off Ebay for cheap, like 80$ (figures huh.....). So I just tried a game on it (portable ops), and at first I thought the analog stick to move snake was just off center because he kept running up. So I tried Joysens (great in most cases), and now he didn't run upward, and yet he didn't move at all, like the anolog stick was uncentered and completely unresponsive. I have come to the conclusion that this is NOT solvable by messing around with Joysens (though I'd love to be wrong here, so shout if you know whats wrong), and only fixable by completely replacing the analog. Opinions would be greatly appreciated. Also, has anyone every experienced something like this. I mean, the joystick is completely unresponsive and off center.

make a ghetto one, use a thump-tac, some glue and a penny
I've bought a complete analog replacement (not just the nub). It arrives in three days or so but now I've read I just have to tighten the screws? Well I bought a screwdriver set with the analog, so Ill just wait for that because I don't have any #00 Phillips at my house.
Hey rainbow, you ever seen anyone do that, that's ghetto as hell lol.
Well I finally opened my psp, and gues what? There was no rubber contact.... Just ordered a contact should be in in about a week, but man, that is such a bummer. I have spent so much money on this psp, that I could've just bought a slim.
Edit: Well..... I just found out my sis has a slim psp she doesn't use and will sell it to me for 60! I'm gonna check if its hackable and if it is, buy it and sell my phat (after I put the contact and screw replacements in it) on craigslist for like 80 or something.
