Recently, I did a full front/back cover plate housing including UMD drive cover replacement for a friends PSP. Went from color black to white.

After the installation, I turned on the PSP and heard a wierd clicking sound from UMD and then you can hear it spin but nothing.
I open the UMD drive and inserted a UMD disk into the drive bay but it wouldn't go in. I looked inside and saw a metal piece that looks like a spoon or tongue was hung up so I used a screwdriver to push it gently down and it clicked into place. After that, I had no problems inserting the UMD disk in and out.
The problem still remains where you can hear it make kind of a loud clicking and then back and forth movement and stops but nothing comes up. I think there was an error too, but I don't remember. tonight I will confirm if there was an error when I get home.

I was very careful with everything when I took the PSP apart and put it back together. Is there something that I could have missed?

I also noticed the lcd is a little to the right when looking through the window. I hoping I can readjust it to make it more centered.

    Thanks,
    MAvLoN
