    Hello ppl,

My PSP, doesn't read UMD. One day it was working fine, on the other day i switched ON, and i hear the UMD spinning, making that noise, and does not start de game. After a while it goes to the menus of the PSP.

I taked the UMD out, and pressed on that little plastic on the left, and the motor spins, and the laser it works.

    Anyone have this problem?

    Please Help

    Thx ppl

you mean people still use the umd drives. why dont you just rip that thing out and insert a cr3100. and if you like buying games just buy em and download the game off the internet.

its prolly something wrong with your umd.maybe the case is too tight and the umd cant spin or the disc is dirty.if your sure the umd drives working fine then its prolly the umd.try a different umd and see if that same problem occurs

There's nothing wrong with the UMD'S disc, or the motor, the laser it's "working" as well. But doesn't start the game.

I was wondering, if there's any way to play iso's that are on the mem. stick, but by passing the UMD.

I used to play my iso's, but i needed to have some UMD disc on the UMD drive to play it. But now the UMD Drive isn't working anymore.

If you are using any of the CFW M33, hold the right trigger down and hold the power on button. This will boot the PSP into the M33 Recovery Menu screen. You can then change the ISO load settings so you can load your ISO's without having a UMD in the PSP. It is really simple and perfect for those of us that don't care about using UMD's.
