Dual Micro SD cards in a Photofast 5400

I just bought two 8 gigue Micro SD cards from a Asia tech exhibition.(forgot name of them. Its something tec.) and a Photofast 5400. When i inserted teh two sticks, i checked teh magicgate. Its says its unknown. So jsut to check, does this mean that they are fake caus i read somewhere that the magicate onlyl applys to Pro Duo cards. Thx in advance.

EDIT:The brand of the Micro SD's was EagleTec. Is this a trusted memory card brand?

The Photofast will NOT show up as magicgate.
That would only be a fake test for real Memory Sticks, not SDHC cards.

Curious, did you buy from a company on the internet or did you buy in person? Ive always wanted to go to an exhibition.

me too, ive seen pics of them from friends that visited seoul, and the setup booths and product displays looked amazing.

I bought it in person. So how could i test the Micro SD to see if their real or not?

excia,as far as i know there are no fake micro sdhc cards.just stick in device,put in psp and format them on the psp.this will make the sticks turn into the 16 gigers
