Can the PSP (in my case, a 1001) support the higher speeds of the Class 6 cards?
As an example, my Axim X50v doesn't benefit at all from higher speed CF cards. So the lesser expensive ones are the one to get.
I have 2 8G class 4 cards in my PSP 1001 and it works fine for the most part. I got them on Amazon pretty cheap. My problem is I can't copy stuff through the USB to the card in my PSP. I have to put the CR-5400 in a card reader in my computer to copy my stuff to it. If I try to go through the USB on the PSP it stops reading after 10-20 seconds. I was thinking maybe the USB was losing power or something but I tried a few different ports and even a different PC.
never mind, it was the cable.

my link on my signature(2nd link) will help you find some cheap, but good class 6 4 and 8 gig micro sdhcs.i also have the 16 gig listed but its only a class 2 and class 2s run slowly.im waiting for them to come out with class 6 16 gigs so i can update that link
Thanks i have ordered two 8gb class 6 cards. Should keep me happy for quite a while now! There wasn't that much price diffrence between the class 4s and 6s anyway.
Thanks again
