psp memstick probs

ok well i have n 8 gig memory stick and today, i formated it and now it only syas i have four gig unused. i formatted it on the comp and the psp and no go fix. any help?

ill go with ihateu, u need to go to any place on the XMB where it highlights a pic of the mem stick, then press triangle then information. read... it should say MagicGate:Supported or if its fake, it should say that its not

Yep it'll be a fake. There are tons of 4GB sold as 8GB ones floating around.
