02-04-2009, 12:27 AM I want to get a PSP, a slim preferably.. I want to be able to play games from a memory stick. Which model should I get at the stores like, bestbuy, gamestop or wallmart? I don't want to get a model that cant be downgraded (hacked).
Question:
Are all the PSP out in stores non-hackable ones?
Are all the PSP 1000 (FAT style) hackable?

02-04-2009, 01:22 AM if you go to walmart or bestbuy any Daxter or Star Wars slims are 100% hackable. the Madden ones are hackable aswell.

02-04-2009, 04:06 AM I have both fat and slim though still like my fat better it seems more solid and better constructed. All phats are hackable. I just picked up another piano black slim at Circuit City cheap and it was hackable. It had AB01 as the serial sticker on back of box which opened from the top. You could see the psp in the window of box and had 3.95 OFW ta-88v2 mobo. This confirms that there are still old stock available. Btw some blue madden ones might have the dreaded ta-88v3 mobo with OFW 4.01 = bad and unhackable while other madden's have the ta-88v2 mobo with OFW 3.95. Pretty sure this has been confirmed. I'd steer clear of the madden one personally.

02-04-2009, 04:22 AM Thomas is right NOT all Maddens are hackable. I got a daxter and now has CFW on it. Any Daxter,Vader,or GOW are hackable. Enjoy. BTW I got my Daxter off ebay with everthing for less then $140 shipped just have to look around
